GINI has
changed its name. The Gazette International Networking Institute (GINI)
in now Post-Polio Health International. The address remains the same
- 4207 Lindell Boulevard, #110, St Louis, MO. 63108 and website
remains
www.post-polio.org. In making the name change, the organization
stated that it changed its name to reflect a more focused scope of
services and broader constituency. It wishes to project the broadest
meaning of "health", encompassing the physical, emotional, social,
psychological, and spiritual aspects of individuals' lives. The new
name also reaffirms an ongoing interest in international issues.
While the majority of the people it serves are polio survivors,
Post-Polio Health International will continue to respond to the
needs of all ventilator users through its affiliate, International
Ventilator Users Network.
